What does din 1 and din 2 mean?

In this section you will find our range of Universal Car Radios with Infotainment system adaptable to all cars and commercial vehicles. These models can be installed on most cars or commercial vehicles and will take your vehicle into the future. It is called DIN after the original standard established by the German institution Deutsches Institut für Normung (DIN).

There are single DIN (180 x 50 mm) or double DIN (180 x 100 mm) units. The American standard for a single DIN car radio is 2" x 7" while a double DIN is 4" x 7".
